Courtney Pierce - Photographer

Soon after Courtney was born, her aunt had her cards read and they revealed that she would become a great and influential artist. However, when Courtney’s childhood art only reared stick figures her parents doubted any artistic talent in their youngest child and soon forgot all about the cards. At 12, Courtney stole her mother’s camera and rekindled everyone’s hope of her becoming an artist.

Courtney moved to Austin to attend St. Edward’s University where she graduated with a BA in Photocommunications. She loves Austin for it’s music and film scene, as well as it’s beautiful lakes and trails, it’s ample vegetarian restaurants, and of course the talented and all around amazing people who reside there.

She believes in CITA and it’s brilliant staff and is anxious to become a leader in the Austin film community!

Alison Chester - Editorial Contributor + Marketing

Alison Chester is an all around go-to girl. She is good at everything, yet has no discernible talents. She loves living in Austin, her friends, her cat, her house and her (soon to be) husband. Her background and current job at Front Gate Tickets keep her in her marketing hat, but she also enjoys writing, producing, acting, making deals, brainstorming and telling people what to do. She has co-produced and acted in several short films in Austin in the past year and hopes to add a few more to the list, and eventually produce her own projects. Alison got involved as a contributing editor with Caught in the Act through friends she met in The Ben Taylor Workshop, namely Corey Burke, who she thinks is amazing.

Corey Burke - Executive Editor

Corey has always had big dreams for herself and a solid belief that she can do and is capable of whatever it is that she wants. Caught in the Act Magazine is one of the many ideas that Corey has had, and it wasn't until she became friends with Lauren Scott and the other members of the CITA staff that this one idea was able to take real form and develop itself. Acting too, is something that Corey also devotes much of herself to - but becoming one takes being dependent on other people to supply the parts. This doesn't quite suite Corey's independent nature and she's constantly looking for ways to create her own future exactly the way she wants it. Look out for the future of CITA MAG because with Corey as its leader - just being a magazine is far from where its headed!
Corey has studied with Gabriel Folse at the State Theater, Van Brooks and Dan Fauci at Two Chairs Studio, Donise Hardy and Pato Hoffman at Casting Works LA, and is currently taking classes with Ben Taylor at the Gibson Guitar Center.

Patricia Robinson - Editorial Contributor + PR

Ever since Patricia was five, she wanted to be an actress. She went away from it in high school to focus on cheerleading competitions, but she found her way back to acting in 2002. Ever since she realized that acting is what she's wanted to do, she's been working hard in classes (Van Brooks, State Theatre classes, and private coaches), studying hard and finding different ways to keep her inner child alive.
Patricia got her degree in Social Work from the University of Texas and is represented by Erin Franklin at Agence Talent. http://www.agencetalent.com/cgi/site/talentdetail.php?talentfolder=patricia_r_
Patricia made her community theatre debut in Breast Entanglements, and has also worked on several short and student films, and other print and commercial work. When she's not acting, she enjoys volunteering, reading, writing, and keeping up to date with all things Harry Potter!
Patricia was so excited to help start Caught in the Act Magazine and cannot wait to see where the magazine goes. www.myspace.com/prob
