Courtney Pierce - Photographer

Soon after Courtney was born, her aunt had her cards read and they revealed that she would become a great and influential artist. However, when Courtney’s childhood art only reared stick figures her parents doubted any artistic talent in their youngest child and soon forgot all about the cards. At 12, Courtney stole her mother’s camera and rekindled everyone’s hope of her becoming an artist.

Courtney moved to Austin to attend St. Edward’s University where she graduated with a BA in Photocommunications. She loves Austin for it’s music and film scene, as well as it’s beautiful lakes and trails, it’s ample vegetarian restaurants, and of course the talented and all around amazing people who reside there.

She believes in CITA and it’s brilliant staff and is anxious to become a leader in the Austin film community!
